I was diagnosed with osteo years ago, but lately I’ve had severe swelling in my ankles and knees, with fluid retention, I thougt that was only with rheumatoid.

I hurt all of the time some times I just wish that I can lay down and die. I don’t want to be so druged
that my mind is fussy. Any pointers?

What are the effects on the partners and the family life? Are there unavoidable complications? Is is possible to have a normal family life living with this disease?

I want to know the difference between this two. I know its a disease of the joints but is there any more specific explanations? Please support your answer. thank you.

My mam is 51, not working but signs on. Gets working tax credit because husband works but is there anything else she might be entitled to. She has rheumatoid arthritis in both hands and one knee so there are not many jobs she can do. She used to be a cleaner but can not do this now because of the pain she gets.
