I just found out that after 7yrs of pain I’m getting money for alll the pain that I’m going through with my knee I have OA and it’s painful. I was on Vioxx for a while but I got off because it was making me depressed and I was having mood swings. And now that I’m getting this money everyone is all up in y face like they know me, but I didn’t have any money they didn’t know me but as soon as they found out I was getting paid. They wanted to come around and be my friend what should I do?
I told only my sister and she told everyone else. I have been keeping a low profile about it all. I guess I shouldn’t have told her because she told everyone else. I like to keep it love key and I have plans to go back in to shcool for my Master in Business Management and a Mionr in child Psy.

I saw an add on TV for "Supple". Its a mango flavored drink that is supposed to relieve joint pain. I would like to know if anyone has tried it and had success before I buy it for me and my husband. Thanks

I went to my doctor for back pain, and headaches, and he gave me Ketoprofen 75mg. I went to fill it and the pharmacist told me it was the same thing as Ibuprofen OTC. I looked it up in my drug book, and found that they are very similar, and both NSAID’s, but not the exact same thing. I know that the Ibuprofen was labeled as "OTC" and Ketoprofen was labeled "also available without a prescription" Is there a difference? Maybe the base product used to make the drug? I dont know. I am a nurse and it benefits me to research drugs as I come across them. Any help would be aprreciated. Thank you!

Most pain relief creams, etc. target the muscles, rather than the nerves that are affected by osteoarthritis. I have heard that glucosamine may be helpful in treating arthritis. I am not looking for a cure, just pain relief. I am currently taking high doses of Ibuprofen, which can cause liver damage. I would rather take something that targets the source of the problem. Has anyone taken glucosamine and had positive results for back pain relief?

How can everyone be so up in arms on legalizing marijuana when legal prescription drugs have been shown to kill when they are supposed to help.

They just found out two diabetes medications greatly increases heart failure risks, even in low dosages. We all remember Vioxx….
WTF! Why is everyone coming down on marijuana when these drugs have proven much more dangerous, yet their legal. And with regard to the new story about psychosis among pot smokers, if you read the entire article, they eventually admit they cannot prove that pot use alone was the cause.
"The researchers said they couldn’t prove that marijuana use itself increases the risk of psychosis..There could be something else about marijuana users, like their tendency to use other drugs or certain personality traits, that could be causing the psychoses," Zammit said.

Calleen-I am college educated, make a hell of a living at the #1 law firm in the state of Michigan, work 40hours a week, pay my bills on time, and take care of my family. DO NOT SPEW YOUR PROPAGANDA HERE! I am no junkie. You are the same type of person who will rationalize the legalization of cigarettes and alcohol, when they’re both know to cause serious health problems including death. You are not logical.

It was reported on the news a while back. Some people that took it got severe joint pain and sometimes caused death. I’m looking for the name of the antibiotic or the news show that covered it.
