My finace has Chondrosarcoma in his spine and he is allergic to tylenol, ibuprofen, and naproxen. Is there anything out there that he can ask his doctor for, for pain? He’s tried tramadol and it really didn’t do anything for him. The cancer is located close to his spinal cord and he says he is worried that if it is removed he will be paralyzed for life and refuses to go through that. Any help??

A little old man shuffled slowly into an ice cream parlor and pulled himself slowly, painfully, up onto a stool.. After catching his breath, he ordered a banana split.
The waitress asked kindly, "Crushed nuts?"
"No," he replied, "Arthritis."

I’m not talking about severe dehydration. My husband says the reason my hip cramps up is because I don’t drink enough water. Just wondering if anyone with medical training can answer.

About every 4 months, my husband has swelling in his joints, thus the doctor said its a form of rheumatoid arthritis. The medications cause more harm than good. Any suggestions?

I know that alcohol plus NSAIDs increase the risk of gastric ulcers/GI bleeding, so I was wondering how many hours should I wait until I can have a few beers. I took a a 400 mg Etodolac (Lodine) earlier in the day (around 1 pm). If it helps, the 1/2 life is 6-7 hours and duration is 4-12 hrs.

Any personal stories about using it would be great. How long did it take to work? How much does it help?

Hey,
So, I’ve been playing the piano for about 10 year now, I’m 15 years old. Today, I cracked my knuckles, and my friend told me I had a larger chance for getting rheumetoid arthritis? I do it a lot… so, I was wondering if it was true.
