can celebrex be used for withdrawls?

I am getting over a prescription pain killer addiction and i have used gabepenton nd lyrica for withdrawls. i was wondering if celebrex is alot alike the lyrica and gabapenten. thanks alot!

I had a accident on my dirt moto and really did a number on my back. I took a celebrex (which did not help) and went to the Dr. today. He prescribed me 30mg Oxycontin. I forgot to ask him if it was ok to start taking this since I took the Celebrex Yesterday. Anyone Know. Just want to be sure.

Now I know it isnt.. but thought maybe there was some reason he did this. It is costly and I just had a baby. I have been EXTREAMLY depressed post baby and called telling them this.
They called me in Celebrex…
Does it help with depression? maybe the hormones? I am not going to go buy the expensive script if not. I am worried that maybe he doesnt take me seriously.

started meds plaquinil and celebrex oct2006 for treatment of imflammatory osteo.

…I get stomach pain within one hour
I quit before using nicorette and it was effective for me. It seems that since I was on Vioxx and Celebrex for a knee surgery 8 years ago, now my stomach is sensitive to nicorette and other nicotine products. How could cigarrettes themselves not hurt my stomach at all. Maybe there is something I can take that would protect my stomach. I really want to quit smoking, hopefully for the last time.

The celebrex I’m suppose to take is once a day, it is the 200mg.

I recently started taking Celebrex for arthritis and I’m also on antidepressants, thyroid and anxiety medications. I have started being teary eyed and down in the dumps. Just wondered if anyone knows if this could be a side effect of Celebrex.

My daughter is pregnant (1-2 months). She suffers from arthritis and since a few days ago has had swelling fingers in feet and hands. Normally she takes Celebrex, but now she cannot take it. Ginger and Tylenol with codeine have been recommended. What else she can do?

My husband has been seeing neurologists for these symptoms (with varying diagnosis) but has also had a history or arthritis for years now. For the most part, he has lived with the pain (mostly because he had gotten off Celebrex as it is an NSAID and too many side effects). Could it be possible that it has gotten bad enough to cause these problems too?

My diabetes educator gave a months worth of samples but I’m not sure whether to take them or not because the drug is so new. For one thing, anyone remember Vioxx and Celebrex? Didn’t those drugs kill people? and also since it’s so new it won’t be in any insurance formulary. So I was wondering, should I give her the samples back and ask for something else to handle my sugar spikes?
I am currently also on actos and metformin plus 13 units of Lantus once a day
