My daughter is pregnant (1-2 months). She suffers from arthritis and since a few days ago has had swelling fingers in feet and hands. Normally she takes Celebrex, but now she cannot take it. Ginger and Tylenol with codeine have been recommended. What else she can do?

My husband has been seeing neurologists for these symptoms (with varying diagnosis) but has also had a history or arthritis for years now. For the most part, he has lived with the pain (mostly because he had gotten off Celebrex as it is an NSAID and too many side effects). Could it be possible that it has gotten bad enough to cause these problems too?

My diabetes educator gave a months worth of samples but I’m not sure whether to take them or not because the drug is so new. For one thing, anyone remember Vioxx and Celebrex? Didn’t those drugs kill people? and also since it’s so new it won’t be in any insurance formulary. So I was wondering, should I give her the samples back and ask for something else to handle my sugar spikes?
I am currently also on actos and metformin plus 13 units of Lantus once a day

What was wrong with Vioxx, Celebrex and all those others that you hear about these days on TV?
Specifically, what is it about long term use that causes cardio problems? Why do arterial walls become thin?

So i have currently been taking Yasmin for about 6 months and aside from some moodyness - which could also be due to lack of sleep - everything has been fine.

not so long ago my knee doctor had me start taking Celebrex which is a NSAID. In my booklet for yasmin it says not to take it while taking NSAID drugs. I’ve picked up both from the pharmany at the same time and no one said anything about how they shouldn’t be together, also I have asked 2 different pharmacists. The first just kind of shook it off and said only antibiotics will effect my birth control but didnt really look into it. the second one i asked i showed him both the box of yasmin and the bottle of celebrex and he said it shouldn’t matter.

altho i have been told twice its okay i still have that fear and want to know if there is a chance that bc im taking celebrex that i could get pregnent or does it just say not to take NSAIDs while taking yasmin bc it could cause other side effects?

anyone have any idea?
thank you

I’m having a hard time with my ankles more than my knees. They don’t bother me unless I’m on my feet too long, then I can hardly stand; and the pain is pretty bad. What are you doing for yourself? I was taking Celebrex, but stopped because it got too expensive; now I’m taking Aleve but I think my body has become immune too it. I can’t afford to go to a doctor and I have no health insurance. Any suggestions?

The man had a commuted left patella fracture and supposedly he developed patellofemoral arthritis secondary to this injury. The doctor claims that he has chronic pain syndrome from it and prescribed him Percocet and Oxycontin. Is this proper? Aren’t Percocet and Oxycontin too strong for arthritis of the knee? Would not Celebrex suffice?

any thigh pain from celebrex?

I took celebrex for a few days and started having a lot of pain in my inner thighs.

Has anyone experienced this and what treatment did thy use.

needing price check for celebrex a arthritis med?

just wanting to find out where it is the cheapest to get a medication called CELEBREX filled for my dad

My doctor put me on 200 mg of celebrex once a day. It does not help. Do any of you have any ideas of what I can do to reduce the pain? At times I can hardly walk, this is affecting my life in a very bad way.
