I have tried several, but Vioxx and Celebrex were the only ones that worked. Now Vioxx is off the market, and Celebrex is under suspicion for the same heart problems. Is there are drug that actually works for the permanent form of bursitis and is non-narcotic? Thank you.

I had a accident on my dirt moto and really did a number on my back. I took a celebrex (which did not help) and went to the Dr. today. He prescribed me 30mg Oxycontin. I forgot to ask him if it was ok to start taking this since I took the Celebrex Yesterday. Anyone Know. Just want to be sure.

I have been taking taking pain killers for my cervical spondulosis and other related pain for the past few years. Since I am taking Omeprazole for my stomach now, will it protact my stomach from pain killers. Is there any other safer relief for the killing pain in the whole of my right hand, as I feeling crippled.
Dosage -
Omeprazole 20mg -One in the moring and one in the evering.
Celebrex 200mg - same as above
Both medications dispensed at government hopitle.

I am currently taking celebrex as needed once a day prescribed by my family doctor and also taking my first cycle of Clomid prescribed by my OB/GYN. She did say with clomid i can take tylenol, but I forgot to ask about celebrex and she is hard to reach because the office is so busy.

I have started on Celebrex (200mg once a day) for hip and knee pain after trying 6 other drugs. Celebrex seems to work. I am also using Zostrix . Have you had good luck with Celebrex?

does celebrex cause chest tightening and shortage of breath, sometimes If I do too much I have to sit down to get my breath back. I don’t smoke and this is only since I started taking celebrex.

I was prescribed Celebrex today for costochondritis (inflammation of catrilage between the upper ribs that connects them to the breastbone). The warning insert warns that there is an increased risk of heart attack and stroke. I am only 28, but I’m scared to take it. I’ve never took an NSAID before and costochonditis usually goes away without treatment.
I know everyone is different, but has anyone ever taken Celebrex before, or other NSAID’s, and did you experience any side effects of any sort?
